May 1, 2005 approximately 40 activists had a "DELUXE Breakfast" in the Nobelrestaurant in Süllberg germany. They carried masks and Tee-shirts with the slogan "the fat years are over" (Die fetten Jahre sind vorbei) a banner was carried with the same inscription.

With oversize knives and forks (made of paperboard and aluminum), they enjoyed salmon, tropical fruits and delicious five stars deserts. What couldnt be immediately eaten disappeared in bags carrying the inscription "5 stars take-away" (Fünf Sterne to go)... Meanwhile other activists distributed leaflets and flowers to the employées, which all expressed sympathy to this action.

With this action the activists wanted to draw the attention to the unequal distribution of the richnesses in our society. While some people can enjoy having lunch for 30 €uros others are not prepared to be resigned to increasingly weak salaries and working conditions increasingly bad. Particularly shocking: the Süllberg Restaurant is known for its bad working conditions, its unpaid overtime and its 12 to 16 hour working days...
